Here are some precautions that our office is taking to limit the spread of COVID-19:
- We are seeing patients only by appointment, including for eyeglass purchases and adjustments
- We have structured scheduling as to space out appointments
- We ask that you call the office or knock on our front door when you arrive as we are limiting the number of patients in the office at one time
- You may be asked to wait in your vehicle or outside until the doctor or optician is ready
- Masks are worn by all staff
- We ask that all patients wear a mask
- Temperatures are taken of all patients and staff with a touch-less thermometer
- We request that all new patients complete their paperwork prior to arrival
- We ask that all patients and staff wash their hands for 20 seconds with soap and water when they arrive
- We sanitize all high touch surfaces(front desk counters, pens, waiting room chairs, etc) and equipment; as well as frames
- We have placed Plexiglas shields in areas
We employ a strict office policy that mandates that all eye doctors, opticians, office staff, and patients not enter if they are feeling unwell, have symptoms of COVID-19, have been exposed to a known case of COVID-19, traveled outside of the country, or traveled to states that have a significant degree of community-wide spread within the last 14 days.
